Ashlee had a brilliant idea: take a spirit with enormous historical and cultural significance that happens to have a towering ABV, and bring it from Ireland to the United States. It's handcrafted, a versatile mixer, and fits right in with the small batch beer and liquor movement happening in America as we speak.

She just needed to get the word out. Fast. We developed a small video for her kickstarter page, shaping her script, shooting on location at Masa 14 (next to my favorite concert venue in DC), and delivered her video two days later. The response has been overwhelming, and 1661 Poitín is well on its way to your neighborhood pub.
