Michelle Obama + Military Child of the Year Awards

Shot at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City. Had our bags sniffed by bomb detecting dogs. We were confined in where we could shoot, and often found ourselves competing with major media outlets like CNN and Fox for space and footage.

Shot entirely with available light, really stressed the ISO capabilities of our cameras, but I think we came away with some really pretty stuff. Also, an incredible honor to be allowed to film the first lady.
